TipTopFox began in COVID. During the uncertainty, like many others, I found myself searching for something creative, something purposeful—and something that could bring a little bit of joy. At the time, I also realised how many dog collars on the market just weren’t quite right. They lacked durability, personality, or both. There weren’t many fun, well-made options that truly balanced style with strength.

So, TipTopFox was born.
What started as a small creative outlet quickly became a passion. I began sewing collars by hand, developing my skills with every piece, learning what worked, what lasted, and what dogs (and their owners) really needed. From the very beginning, safety has been at the heart of everything we do. Every design is carefully constructed to ensure it is strong, reliable, and built to withstand the everyday adventures of active dogs.

Sustainability is just as important to us. Most of our fabrics are sourced from remnant and scrap fabric stores, giving beautiful materials a second life rather than letting them go to waste. This means many of our designs are limited in number—but never in style. Each piece is a little bit unique.

We focus on using hard-wearing upholstery fabrics, chosen specifically for their durability and resilience. Our collars are designed to handle muddy walks, energetic play, and everything in between—while still being easy to clean by hand and made to last for years. In fact, we still hear from customers who bought collars over five years ago, and they’re still going strong.

Every item is handmade in the UK, crafted with care, attention, and constant refinement. Over time, we’ve adapted and improved our techniques to ensure each product not only looks its best but performs at its best too.

As life moved forward, I took a short break from TipTopFox when I started university. But now, alongside my studies, I’m proud to be back—continuing to create, improve, and grow the brand that started from such a simple idea.

TipTopFox is more than just dog accessories. It’s about thoughtful design, sustainability, and creating products that truly last—because your dog deserves nothing less.
